Returns & Exchanges

If you are not satisfied with a product or purchase and would like to exchange the item, or would like a credit or refund for the item, please contact our service department at 1-800-354-4040 to request a Return Authorization (RA) number.  We will begin processing your request as soon as an RA# has been assigned.  We will not accept returns without an Authorization Number.  We will accept returns within 30 days of purchase.

All merchandise that we sell is guaranteed against defects in workmanship and materials for 30 days from the date you receive it.  Liability of Classic Chevrolet Parts is limited to the replacement of any such defective product.  Manufacturers may guarantee their products for longer periods of time and should a defect become apparent after 30 days from the date you received the item, replacement or repair of defective item will be processed through the manufacturer according to their warranty policy and at their discretion.  Any shipping or handling charges associated with the return of an item will be paid by the customer.  We will not accept returns or exchanges shipped to us via C.O.D.

All returns that are not defective are subject to a 20% restocking fee.  Each returned item must be in it's original, unused condition and packaging.  Items returned to us that have been used or altered in any way are non-returnable.  The customer is responsible for return shipping to us unless it is determined that we are responsible for the return or exchange.  If such should be the case, we will pay for the return.

Special order items, drop shipped items, custom made items, books, electrical items, catalogs, wood products or items requiring special delivery via truck freight are non-returnable.  Components that have been installed incorrectly are also non-returnable. 

Each item returned to us in addition to requiring an approved Return Authorization number, must also be accompanied by the original invoice or a copy of such.  Items damaged in shipping SHOULD NOT immediately be returned to us.  The shipping company should be notified as soon as damage in shipment is realized.  If you receive an item that has been damaged in shipping, please give us a call so that we can help expedite a claim against the shipper.  Items returned to us that were damaged in shipping without first notifying the shipper will not be accepted.

All returns are subject inspection before issuing a refund, credit, or exchange.  Our return policy may change from time to time without notification.
